Trying out Bearblog
After using WordPress, Jekyll, Ghost, GatsbyJS, and Hugo (in that order), none quite hit the mark for me. I've come to realize that the modern web is overly complex and bloated. I aim to maintain simplicity, to showcase what I want to share without unnecessary distractions. Not only that, but I prefer a straightforward website that's easy to navigate, free from the clutter.
That's why stumbling upon Bearblog feels like a breath of fresh air. I'm giving it a shot to see if I like it enough. If it does, I'll likely make the switch. It's been some time since I've had a setup where I don't micromanage every aspect of the website.
